What does the Extended Protection Plan cover?
It covers mechanical or electrical failure, heating element failure, internal component failure, and defects in materials or workmanship from normal household use — for the tool(s) included in your set.
How long am I covered for?
Every QC tool includes a 2-year manufacturer's warranty at no extra cost. The Extended Protection Plan adds 2 more years, giving you up to 4 years of total coverage from your purchase date.
Do I need to register my warranty?
No — there's no registration required. Your manufacturer's warranty is active automatically from your purchase date.
When does the extended coverage apply?
Your manufacturer's warranty covers Years 1–2 (included free). The Extended Protection Plan covers Years 3–4 — just add it at checkout.
What isn't covered?
Cosmetic damage, scratches, dents and normal wear and tear; accidental damage, misuse, neglect or improper storage; damage from power surges, liquid, fire or external causes; unauthorised repairs or modifications; commercial or salon use; lost or stolen products; and products with altered or illegible serial numbers.
What happens if my tool stops working?
If a covered tool fails under normal household use, QC will repair, replace, or refund it.
